Since this past update I turned 15, received my drivers permit, and attended my first funeral. My birthday turned out very nicely. I was not in the best of moods at beginning of March and I was not looking forward to my birthday. I decided not to have a party this year because there was so much going on so instead I spent the night at Ann's house and Gordon came over. I love them. We "napped" and had cheesecake. It was really, really nice, thank you again Ann. Spring break came the week after. I like having it later in the month of March. It makes the 4th quarter seem a bit shorter. Break was bland but I really needed it. I shopped and slept a lot. Bought Finding Neverland the day it came out. What an awesome movie. I watch it repeatedly and it never gets old. During the last few days of break my grandmother died. She was in her 80s, living in a nursing home, she had Osteoporosis and Alzheimer's... we saw it coming. My siblings and I were never very close to her growing up. Close in proximity? Yes, she lived less than five minutes from our home in Sarasota. But, she never came over to our house because she couldn't drive. She wasn't the grandmother types most kids think of. I know this probably sounds terribly sour, but she wasn't at all a mean person; basically she was always at home complaining. We visited her often though, we just weren't close to her relationship wise. Her death was hard for the family on my dad's side. I feel very sorry for them and my father. My maternal grandmother died just before my 5th birthday. Grams did everything for my sister and I. She would visit often and was always helping mother take care of my sister and I. She lived 8 hours away. Kind of ironic? I wish they were both here now, of course. And I don't care how many Reverends say it; They're not in a better place, they would both rather be here with their children and spouses. But I understand that if she continued living in the condition she was in her life would be pretty crappy. Going to the church was hard for everyone, even me, today. I didn't agree with a lot of the things the Reverend said. Anyways, the lady bears lacrosse had their game vs. Lake Howell today. I couldn't go since I was in Sarasota, but I hope they all do great. We have another game on Friday vs. Winter Park, 5:30 & 7:00, its going to be fun.
Sorry the entry seemed really depresseing and really boring for a lot of you. Its nice to type these things out.
P.S. In seven days the 100 day countdown for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince starts!
