Another. Am on a roll, apparently.

From

+Brushes and Textures.

Find a cap you like, crop it and all that jazz.

And yes, I know this scene was iconed to death, but I fcuking love it, so bear with me.
Duplicate layer. Filter->Sharpen-Sharpen.
Now Desaturate (Image->Adjustements->Desaturate or Ctrl+Shift+U). Set to Screen. Merge Down.

Image->Adjustements->Brightness/Contrast.
My settings are -20, +20.

New Layer.
Fill with gradient, I’m using this
by crumblingwalls. I adore this gradient, seriously, and I definitely abuse it.
I set it to Lighten, 100%Opacity.

Now I’m using this
texture that I made myself (totally sharable, help yourself *g*) and set it on Color Burn 90%Opacity.

It’s kinda darkish, so I go to Image->Adjustements->Brightness/Contrast and play with the settings. I end with +10, +30

Grainy faces, argh. Time for Blur Tool. Soft Brush, Normal, 50%. 10px in size, don’t use larger because it would make the faces all smudgy. Blur softly, small circles *g* Coolness.

Now again with colours. This
gradient again by crumblingwalls, set it on Screen, 60%Opacity.

Now, merge down. Wee.
Now I take this
texture by colorfilter and flip it horizontal (Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal)

Set it on 80% Screen.

Create new layer, Fill it with white.
Lower the Opacity so you can see the layer underneath and using the Rectangular Marquee Tool select the part of the background you want visible.
Copy it and past on top of the white layer, then make the white layer visible again.

Now I use this
text brush that I made myself and rotate it 90 CW (Edit->Transform->Rotate)

Now new layer, and this
Brush by terra_katta, Rotate and place under my text brush, twice.

Now I create a new layer again, and using Eyedropper Tool I select a colour from the background.
I paint a little square at the top of the white place... I used square brush, but you can as well select a rectangular and fill it with color.

Now, I duplicate the layer with the square, and set it on 75% Opacity, and move the square down.

I duplicate it again and set it on 50% Opacity, move under.

Now, new layer and again the texture I used earlier
, set on Normal and 20%Opacity.

Merge Visible
Brightness/Contrast, settings +10, +10.

Voila.

Now, my first set of textures:
