becoming a part that don't last
I haven't updated for a while...
My grandmother has surgery in a few weeks and I'm considering going up to PA with my parents, despite the fact that my grandmother is mean and my aunt is a SNAKE. I haven't decided yet.
Work is work. My boss has PMS, or pregnancy hormone sympathy, which makes life interesting and frustrating.
My mother and sister came up for a chunk of last week and we had fun hanging out. My sister is a lot more... I don't know how to describe it. We've had a shaky relationship because she's always been the square peg in our round hole family. But things have been better lately and I actually enjoy being around her.
I had a good Fourth - went to a BBQ with overloved and, despite only knowing two people, it was a lot of fun. And I got to play with an iPhone and feel less like I need to own one in the next few years.
Upcoming events: taking overloved to see The Fray as her birthday present and seeing HP.
