Good Morning
I just woke up to realize that I am totally screwed... I have to cut a grass this morning that will take an estimated 1.5 hours and I woke up early to do it. But it is wet outside. And I have to do it today. And at 10 (1.25 hours) I have to help load up my drums, amps, guitars, etc. to take them to COC. And I have to be there all day. Aww man.
On a better note, I did well towards the end of my first vocal lesson last night. They say singing is 80% ear and 20% not ear. I have the 80%, but I need to work on the other 20%. Supposedly, this won't be too hard if I have more lessons like yesterday. My range is from G to D. I am a baritone, leaning towards a bass. Don't really know why that is, but oh well. If you promise not tell Mrs Lauren, I will let you in on a little secret. The main reason I am learning to voice notes is so I can practice towards getting perfect pitch, at which point Lesly and I will get along better than before....
By the way, I think I am performing that song I wrote about in my last journal tonight. Yup. It's gonna be good (I hope).
