I introduced a friend, J, to Livejournal today and realised how I had dwindled into random diatribe these days and how little productive time I had spent on fandoms.
What was I thinking?!
Having hit a snag in dealing with human beings in RL save when fan-flail or alcohol is available, I am coming at a full run right back into the arms of my best friend, the Internet. Whoever told me that dealing with the flesh-and-blood was healthier probably never drank thirty cocktails in one sitting. Naturally to commemorate my break-up with reality (no, I am still with the boyfriend. Metaphor, folks, metaphor), I am going to do what all women magazines advise these days: go for a complete makeover.
Metaphorically.
Step 1: Reboot. I have removed every single LJ entry that I would deny I had ever written. Oh I love virtual reality; there is always a chance to do things all over.
Step 2: Renovate. A new skin, new set of icons and userpics (yes, I am finally getting rid of this set) will be coming up shortly.
Step 3: Revive: Until The Hobbit swings into action and turn my fandom around, I am going to have to find new fandoms to completely obsess over. Oh the possibilities...
