Airlifted from Bethany Nursing home on Esplanade along with his nurse, Veronica Harris and another patient, Mrs. Dominguez to the triage center in Moisant. Veronica Harris was not allowed to stay with her patients in triage and was moved to Ellington AFB and is now safe in Arlington, Texas. THE PASSED
Shadow. Friend of Fuzzy Leo’s and known to many on the Square and on Bourbon Street. Male White about 5’ 8’ long dark hair grayish eyes, approximate age 25. Former street kid. Worked as a barback and busboy as of late. Believed to have passed the week of September 4th on Lower Bourbon Street near Ursuline Street. Shadow had been given shelter by some people down the block from my apartment. He had very little to eat. There was apparently no water. One of my neighbors had given him some food (biscotti) and some juice a few days before. After not having water for approximately 3 days and very little water and food preceeding that, Shadow had approximately 3-5 drinks of alcohol. Shadow did not wake up. The people who were taking care of Shadow were instructed by NOPD to place his body on the street, in front of the house like others were doing in the Quarter (and for that matter the city) and that someone would pick him up. No one came for the bodies. A situation that I understand, at least in this case upset at least two Officers from NOPD. Several days later people from my block and others placed Shadow in the river. I have this information confirmed by more than one individual and one of those individuals is a good friend of mine who knew Shadow. THIS IS NOT SHADOW THE TOUR GUIDE OR SHADOW THE READER.

THE PASSED
Shadow. Friend of Fuzzy Leo’s and known to many on the Square and on Bourbon Street. Male White about 5’ 8’ long dark hair grayish eyes, approximate age 25. Former street kid. Worked as a barback and busboy as of late. Believed to have passed the week of September 4th on Lower Bourbon Street near Ursuline Street. Shadow had been given shelter by some people down the block from my apartment. He had very little to eat. There was apparently no water. One of my neighbors had given him some food (biscotti) and some juice a few days before. After not having water for approximately 3 days and very little water and food preceeding that, Shadow had approximately 3-5 drinks of alcohol. Shadow did not wake up. The people who were taking care of Shadow were instructed by NOPD to place his body on the street, in front of the house like others were doing in the Quarter (and for that matter the city) and that someone would pick him up. No one came for the bodies. A situation that I understand, at least in this case upset at least two Officers from NOPD. Several days later people from my block and others placed Shadow in the river. I have this information confirmed by more than one individual and one of those individuals is a good friend of mine who knew Shadow. THIS IS NOT SHADOW THE TOUR GUIDE OR SHADOW THE READER.
