Quickie.
What a long past couple of days. I can finally relax for a hot min.
I figure I should update every so often, even if it's just to recap the day or make a random statement.
What did I learn today? Here we go:
1. Mike is a douche.
2. There apparently is such an ethnic group as Celtic Portuguese. Yeah. It's new to me, too.
3. Neon symbolizes something. I'm not sure what, but I'm going to figure it out before my first Ethnic-American Lit paper is due on Tuesday.
4. When you ask an English professor a question, they never give you a straight-up answer. In fact, you sometimes don't even get an answer.
5. My Anthro professor does not know how to spell "archaic". There is an "r" in there.
6. I like children and all (when they're not crying), but after today, I don't want to see another one for a good couple of months. Except Malachi and that's because he's my Munchkin and doesn't cry.
7. I find it hot that there are guys out there who are open-minded enough to get pedicures and manicures and that they don't feel it makes them any less manly. No names, but totally deserving of major cool points in my book.
8. My cd burner on my computer will not burn any cds. This saddens me.
9. Sometimes things work out "just okay" -- and I'll take that. That's not by any means "settling" - rather, it's more like accepting that some things are certain ways and maybe they'll change - but maybe they won't, and I'm okay with that.
10. That I miss Anne Boone. But also: that I really need to go back to therapy because all of this repressing of emotions is not healthy -- even if it's not overly obvious.
11. That people will say they're going to do one thing and then do another. Must realize that this makes them weak and weak people, although worthy of my tolerance, are not worthy of my time. Your word defines you.
12. That my tan is fading quickly and something must be done about this.
