I woke up at about 5:30 this morning. Seven and a half hours is enough I suppose. My brain is spinning. There is so much goin on right now. I love it, but it gets my juices flowing in an almost-too-tweeky sort of energy. Normally, I'm sort of a take-it-as-it-comes kind of gal, but when there is so much going on I can totally kick it into high gear and accomplish a whole lot. This is one of those times.

The guest house is in full swing, spring has historically been our busy season. It has been so much fun redecorating in there and we are exremely happy with the results. Everyone that has stayed seems to really like the space calling it 'cozy' and 'the best sleep I've had in a while'. We're not booked up solid, but more than 50% of the time until the begining of June. Not too shabby.

We finally got our new washing machine on order (we have been without since November), should be here Wednesday, which is also the deadline for the artists to have their stuff to me to hang in the artspace. The next week is going to be all about the artspace. I have one artist here already. The rest will start trickling in over the next 4 days. Mostly on the last day cause that's how it goes...The opening shin-dig is next Friday from 6-9. I hope you can make it!

And, in less that 2 weeks I will be taking my 2 week Jazz Fest holiday from work to stay home and party on the corner vacation!! YAY!! AND, the Royal Wedding on April 29th, which I am SO getting up at 4am to make breakfast and watch it live. If you'd like to join let me know. I'm thinking fruit salad, some sort of frittata, english muffins, a selection of jams, I'm gonna try making some gluten-free scones, cinnamon, walnuts and currents sounds good to me. And I'm sure there will be some bubbly!!

Also, we have been talking about getting a new-to-us car before the Saturn fails (she is a 1999, bless her heart). This morning I got an e-mail from my stock entity reminding me that I have some stock options that are about to expire. I looked it up on their website to discover that I have a nice little chunk of change that will be perfect for a down payment.

Life is good.
