the busy season/April is my favorite month every year!
Just know that my lack of posts don't represent a lack of stories. I have been ridiculously busy lately between the money job, getting the art show together for the opening party on April 18th, house guests by the droves (and we are booked up for the next many weekends, through Jazz Fest in fact), spring fever, spring cleaning, plus, just keeping up with all of those adult responsibilities that build up when you spend a few days cruising around drinking with your scooter gang, like bills, the litter boxes, laundry, etc...
Last night we found ourselves hosting another old friend, JG, who came into town for business. We can't NOT show a visitor a good time, so we had oysters, appetizers and fresh beer at bookeater504's new job and then scooted over to Lafayette Square for the season premier of live music at Wednesday at the Square.

did I mention I love this weather!! plus (knock on wood) no mosquitoes yet.
spring time in new orleans. I just made the typo -sprint time - that works to describe this season as well.
The downtown Mardi Gras Injuns are gathering on Bayou St. John this Sunday at 2, and of course, I am scheduled to work. Next week, French Quarter Fest, and then the following weekend Art Show opening, and then the next one jazz fest for 2 weeks, and then it is May. Yup, sprint time it is.....off to the money job.
