Okay as lame as this may sound I have recently become O.C.D on the orchid plant. To make a long story short it started in nov of 05 when 2 of my best friends, who are a couple, moved into their own apartment. Steve was hooking up the water line to his fridge but the hose was wrong. So he and I went to OSH. As he was shopping for the correct hose I wondered over to the gardening section. I always wanted to try to develop a green thumb. The section had Beautiful Candy Stripped Orchids, which I fell in love with. So naturally, being a libra, before I committed to something new I had to research it. I grabbed an Orchid care guide and read it not giving it too much thought. Months passed without me thinking about them, but still lingering in the back of my head was the wanting to try to raise this tropical beauty. About a month ago Steve and I went to Walmart to shop. I was trying on cute outfits, none of which suited me because I was trying to be something I wasn't. So I got uberly depressed and almost cryed at the store because I am a fat ass that nothing fit or looks good on anymore. So as an impulse buy, to make myself feel better, I bought a Fuchsia Butterfly Orchid. Thats when I went O.C.D. on the damn plant. Since I cant give my "feelings" to somebody, I might as well invest in something that can reciprecate my feelings and attention in a beautiful arrangement of colorful and exotic flowers. I since then made Steven drive me all the way to an orchid nursery in Montclaire to purchase two new Phalaenopsis Orchids. I Spent over $110.00 for two Plants. They bring me joy and its a healthy hobby so whatever, if this makes me a nerd then fuck you and goodnight. Let me introduce my Orchids
