movie night
Tonigh I went to go see the Stepford Wives. It was ok. I know it might become a gay must have movie just for the fashion in the movie. The story plot was extremly farfetched. I don't think the filmakers paid close attention to the details in the movie. The secret of Stepford that is discovered by Joanna(Nicole Kidman)turns out to be that the women of stepford are being turned into robots by Mike(Christopher Watkins) around of the middle of the movie. It shows one of the "wives" swiping a credit card in her mouth and money spills out. So it confirms that they are robots. Then at the end of the movie when Joanna and Walter(Matthew Broderick) foil Mikes plot to stepfordize everyone and shows the women turning normal again they aren't robots anymore they have like a chip in their head that gets deleted by Walter. Maybe I didn't pay close attention and missed a few thing or I wasn't following but thats what I gathered from what I did see. Besides that the visuals were attractive. The whole picture overall was entertaining.
