General Problems With The World...vol 1
this morning i woke up and realized that im in DEBT! Not just like i owe 20 bucks to erik or something, DEBT. Not ONLY do i owe erik 20 bucks, i owe Bank of America almost 2,000 Dollars; not to mention my college loans which total at least 30gs. So allin all i owe 32,000 dollars, part of which to someone or some entity i have never seen before. I almost had a nervous breakdown in my bed. The funny part is, I woke up this morning and went on my PSP online searching for jobs on Craigslist. What's even funnier is that my mom wont let me get certain jobs because i don't have insurance on my car. Whats even more funny is that the Jobs i really want to get are the ones that are far and require me to Drive out there. The funniest thing is that the one job i want to get is with a Car insurance company. Life is just a Comedy Central Channel of irony. But the real issue is the fact that I need to manage my money a WHOLE lot better. Im writing this journal today as a testament to that fact. As I sit here and eat my bagel and think about money making schemes, I need to realize that its not how QUICK i can make some dough, its about how LONG I can make that dough last for me. I admit, it is hard not to spend money on things you like or things you want, such as those new Jordans that come out in January (which i WILL have) or that New BAPE hoodie with the teethmars and the two Xs on each side of the zipper that zips all the way up; basically I need to check myself and my spending habits.
What I must say tho (especially to those younger readers), Be mindful of consumerism in the United States. People here have literally mastered the Art of the Sale. Transactions can go on without you even being cognizant of their existance, and yet they are YOUR transactions. Its a terrible thing to have automated payments, and although they provide convenience, they do not preserve funds for unseen expenses, or remind you to check your balance. Also be mindful of these "FREE scams". I call them Scams because they will eventually get you for whatever money you have, AND MORE. If anyone wants to give you something for free, READ AND LISTEN TO THE FINE PRINT because in there will be the clauses for your "free" gift, which in a sense, doesn't make it that much free anymore.
Anyways in other news...
The president just did something that should SHAKE THE SHIT out of this country. He just made a nationally televised broadcast with him telling the nation that he did something illegal. Thats right, ILLEGAL
or in laymans terms AGAINST THE LAW
He stated that He is SPYING on certain people in the U.S. and it is for its own protection. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm can someone say Nazi? I have tried to really reason with this guy. I really have. I have tried to see his logic. I have tried to adhere to the problems we face in regards to Iraq and Al-Qaeda and terrorism. I have really tried to believe that 911 was a terrorist attack. NOW i do not knwo what to believe anymore. Why is THIS president not being impeached for ILLEGAL ACTIONS. Bill was almost impeached for getting head in the oval office and lying about that. Shit i really didn't wanna know anyway, so I THANK Bill Clinton for trying to keep this in the dark. George Bush has taken this too far. He is repsonsible for the lives of many men and women over seas who are dying to protect us, when they aren't even scratching the surface, especially if our own president has to spy on people in his own country. This is Borderline Dictatorship. If People do not act now and really speak and rally against this tyrannist, We will really see the Patriot Act, and other laws pass which infringe on the very basis of our country's foundation, its freedom. If you don't mind your president spying on you, then go ahead and endorse him. Ill tell you one thing, IM NOT!!!
