*ebil grin*

I had no idea when I was demanding fic that I would get something this fantastic and fun! I wanted to be shocking and daring with my pairing just to annoy you, and you too it and ran with it and made this brilliant fic.

You never cease to amaze me!

Thank you.

*grins* Really, darling, you should know by now that the more 'shocking and daring', the more fun I have with it. Remember Goyle/Moaning Myrtle? But I was happy that it clicked after I started writing. :)

Thank you! I'm just glad you liked it.

Yay sporfling! *grins*

I'm glad it had a comic-y feel - I was definitely trying out new things in terms of tone and style and I'm thrilled that a lot of it seemed to work. Thank you so much!

I really liked Steph's voice here, and I enjoyed the sex, but I did think it moved a bit fast. That, really, was what threw me out of the story most -- I had a moment of 'what, wait, hold on a minute!' at the kiss. I think if you'd held back on that for a couple more hours, given the girls more of a chance to get to know each other, the timing of the sex wouldn't have thrown me so much.

That said, I also really liked the details of the scars and Babs' grace, the changes that would make her Oracle, and Steph's worry over whether to tell her or not. The timing, seriously, was pretty much my only quibble.

I also adore your icon. Like, madly.

Oh! And because I'm a moron, I forgot to mention this -- I'd also recommend that you post a link to this fic to bats_femslash. I think they'd enjoy it.

Ooh, I will, thanks! I'm new in this fandom (Hi!) and still a bit lost, so this is very helpful. :)

I'm glad you liked it! I had lots of fun writing this.

And thank you for telling me what needed work! I did struggle wiht the timing. I was trying to be all subtle, and I think maybe the attraction that was so clear in my head wasn't given time to ferment in the finished product. When I go back to revise (whenever that is) I'll definitely take your suggestions under consideration. :)

Thank you so much!

(*is geeky proud* I made my icon myself. Feel free to snag it, if you want. I definitely don't mind.)

And this is why I hate DC. Because Steph had a chance to be just as good as Babs (if not phenomenal like Oracle or Nightwing) and they...didn't give it to her. Le sigh. But this! This is just...squeeful joy. :)

Yay! *bounces*

See, I haven't been reading DC all that long, but even I've noticed that their favorite activity seems to be to create all this awesome potential, then destroy it like a kid with a Lincoln Log fort. I have no idea why I keep going back for more but... Here I am. *grins*

Thank you!

DC seems real bent on not having any 'jump the shark' moments. They don't let any of the big names be happy for too long before they insert TEH ANGST to try and build drama.

Emphasis on the word 'try'.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this pairing, but you did it so *well,* and so *right.* I totally loved this fic. Thanks so much for sharing.
