Happy Friday the 13th!
My newest niece was born this afternoon. She's completely darling. ♥ Her big sister (now four) was utterly in love and declared that the baby was ALL HERS now; her big brother(who is somehow two already) wasn't nearly as charmed, but kept looking at pictures and saying her name after we left the hospital.
I spent the earlier part of the week utterly devouring the new Diana Gabaldon book. I loved it. Granted, I've loved that series for so long now that any new canon is going to make me jump for joy so I'm not anything APPROACHING a critical thinker on that front, but there was a lot I really enjoyed. I'm hesitantly optimistic about the upcoming tv show; I've started a reread of the first part of the series because it's been so long, and think it probably COULD be a good show. Fingers crossed!
