Yuletide!
Guys, I had a blast with Yuletide this year. I'm pretty proud of the fic I wrote, and can't wait to reveal it. But until then, I'm going to revel in the AMAZING story that I received! I got VIKINGS fic!

This is 9k of absolutely fantastic fic, which retells the first season with one crucial difference-- Athelstan is stolen from a nunnery, rather than an monastery. It's gen, and the author does a fantastic and subtle job of showing how differently (and the same!) things would have gone, had Athelstan been Athelwynne. I think my favorite thing is the development of the relationship with Lagertha. This fic is just SO GOOD. I'm in awe that it was my gift!
