nightlilac just made my day by pointing out this update by Scott Allie on the Dark Horse Umbrella Academy Zone.
First of all, Gerard Way and Mike Mignola fanboying each other in a comics shop is now officially canon. ♥_♥
Secondly,thank you, Scott Allie, by telling us that the real reason My Chemical Romance are congregating in LA is to shoot a music video for "Desolation Row" for the Watchmen soundtrack.
SHOOTING A MUSIC VIDEO. That will no doubt either involve Watchmen references, clips from Watchmen, or, in my dream scenario, involve My Chemical Romance cosplaying as characters from Watchmen. (A girl can hope!) In my mind the dream combination would be Mikey as Ozymandias, Frank as The Comedian, Gerard as of course Dr. Manhattan (who are we to argue with Ray?). Bob and Ray I can't decide on... Ray would be a good Nite Owl, but Bob isn't really a Silk Spectre OR a Rorschach. IDK.
I cannot wait for this. :D
