I have a good start on my Yuletide fic written. I'm excited.
My weekly Dexter squee:
I was worried Dex was going to make a mistake when he whacked Paul with the skillet. I love that I’m glad he didn’t. Good going, because Rita doesn’t need the stress of kids mourning their dead deadbeat dad. Jail’s a nice alternative. Because Rita is awesome and does not need felony charges.
Poor Angel! And Rudy, that was sloppy, going to the police station with the bloody lip.
Oh, Deb, you so have reason to be jealous of Dex and Rudy.
Rudy making himself at home in Dex’s apartment, looking for a meat cleaver! Dex handing Ice Truck a cleaver! Rudy being concerned about Dex’s emotional status while Deb’s hand was down his pants! Okay, I’m not normally one for slashing everyone who crosses paths, but this is too blatant. And too fabulous and twisted for me to not love it. So, officially? I ship Dex/Rudy. There. I said it. :) So much delicious tension and there's so much they can learn from each other and and... it just rocks.
And oh, Dexter finally meeting a crime scene (made for him by his sweetie, no less!) that he couldn’t handle.
Dex’s childhood chainsaw massacre! Poor Dex’s Mommy. And it all bubbling back to him thanks to Rudy’s little present.
How is it possible that I love this show more and more with every week?
