Greetings from Texas
Well, I'm sorry that I haven't written anything in a very long time, but boy was I busy.
My court date went fine. None of my creditors showed up, and my attorney said that was a good sign. I should get my release (or whatever it's called, dismissal?) sometime in November.
I've had a bit of trouble with Chrysler Financial. They are refusing to send me a bill for my car payments, so I have no idea how much I owe on my car. I'm just going to send them $300 a month until they send me my title. Hopefully if I overpay any, they'll give it back....morons.
Anyway, the move went as smoothly as it could have. My mother started complaining in Oklahoma about being stiff and tired. I was the one doing all the driving, talk about being stiff!
My dad and Jason's dad got along great. They golfed on Saturday and they talked about golfing and cars and whatever else middle aged men talk about. I was glad for that. I had never seen my father or Jason's father talk so much. I'm not sure if my mother and Jason's mother got along at all. Oh well, it's not like they'll need to see each other all that much.
I haven't had any luck in finding a job yet. I've applied at a few places, but have not gotten any phone calls yet. I need to get a Texas Drivers license and change my car's registration to Texas and get plates and all, but I haven't gotten the foggiest idea on how to do that yet.
