Hunter x Hunter 2013 89-92! Gon fights Knuckles. Knuckles is too 'gentle' while Gon's 'jajaken' attack has weaknesses. Gon totally doesn't understand Knuckles' power which was cute. Biscuit tells Killua what his weakness is. Killua tries to overcome his weakness in his fight with Shoot. While disappointed that the conclusions of their fights were not animated, episode 91 was pretty brilliantly portrayed. I couldn't tell if Killua actually lost his fight, but I assume so. Oh, the crying scene...<3 If it weren't for Shingeki no Kyojin, the aftermath of the birth would have been a little more disturbing...is this still a kid's show? and hey, the king has a twin; quite a creepy birth there. Gon's date with Palm was very cute.
Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge jmovie! This takes place after the York Shin arc and before the Greed Island arc. Kurapika has his eyes stolen from a friend from his past who is supposedly dead. Gon, Leorio and Killua try to help him. Turns out that the number 4 member of the Spider gang is the person stealing eyes. Since this movie takes place before Gon and Killua's training with Biscuit, massive amounts of luck and the interference of Hisoka get the good guys through the fights. This was an enjoyable, but fairly forgettable. It does delve into Kurapika's past and why he was the only one who survived his clan's massacre.
