Enjoyable Christmas included Sherlock Holmes (where da fanfics be at?), renting Inglorious Basterds (not enough Brad Pitt funnies), and the Doctor Who special (wtf, can't wait til pt.2). Received my Tim Burton artbook, a snood and a Batman lego...yay.
Darker Than Black - Ryuusei no Gemini 12! the end until the extra (4?) DVD episodes (which may be fluff fillers like the first season specials or actual story fillers). I suppose they introduced enough new openings for Hei in this last episode for another season, but Suou (and July) were given a happy end, however bittersweet it was. I gave the first season a 7/10 rating because the 'gut' of the story was rushed into the last few episodes. This happened again this season with the exception of the focus on Suou which was developed at a satisfying pace.
*spoilers*Shion creating another world for Suou was unexpectedly nice. The Yin-like 'boy' at the end was also unexpected. Gonna give this another ~7/10 rating~ for an enjoyable arc in the whole Darker than Black world, but stop it with the mysterious ending inserts.
Kimi ni Todoke 12! The good thing about Kurumi is that she is not very intelligent and all her sad attempts at keeping Kazehaya to herself get thwarted by all the other characters acting in the complete opposite manner she wants them to act. Ryuu surprisingly confesses the identity of his crush to Sawako, and Kazehaya didn't seem to be giving up at the end of the episode. Not the most thrilling love triangle set-up, but eh, it's still cute.
