Finally finished up the all four seasons and major specials of Doctor Who and all three seasons of Torchwood. It took about 2 months, and it was very, very fun. I think I saw a random episode of DW a few years ago and totally did not get it. It was the 2nd Ood episode..just weird back then. Since there are interconnecting stories and many in-jokes, it makes sense to watch it in order, and it's easier to get absorbed that way. The first season of DW didn't grab me until halfway. The cheap sci-fi and blurred logic blocked the immediate fangirl, but the flaws became strengths and well, you get hooked. TW was a tad harder to get into since the writing wasn't as 'fun' nor as clever, but hey, no fangirl can resist smut of all varieties. I don't see why NBC bought that corny show, Merlin, and hasn't tried to sell DW to the general public. Anyway, can't wait until the rest of this year's specials. ♥

Btw, I enjoy Yahoo's new look. It's less ugly. I've tried Bing a few times, but Google's customized searches still pummels it.
