Who Are You? 15-17!
Yoon Kye Sang has made it to my list of Korean actors to watch. He looks so boy-next-door-cute in the wiki entry. I enjoyed his stoic Seung-Hyo and possessed Seung-Hyo roles in this show.
Random fun details: Seung-Hyo's car hood logo was always taped over to hide the car brand, but they forgot to tape the logo inside the car. It's an Infiniti. I like how 'Soccer Ball' became one of the turtle's names. Still loving the Darth Vader scroll art in the dining room and the zebra head wallpaper in the bedroom. And *ew*, the end of episode 15. Young-In finally learns the truth of what her father's ghost has been doing. There was at least 20 minutes of crying and tiresome drama music there, but it was pretty nice when they were making kimchi together...*weep* More tears in the final episode.
Though the series was fun, admittedly, I fastforwarded through all the crying and all the intense staring. After watching so many kdramas, though sad, the sadness feels like overkill sometimes; definite overkill during the last episode. And yes, the handicapped friend getting a license was just a filler scene. Looks like nice guy, Jae-ha, might've turned himself in at the end even though Seung-Hyo let the bad guys have the paintings. Anyway, happy ending with a kiss is how it ended. I was hoping for some comedy at the end with the dripping ice cream on his shirt, but nothing came. All in all, it was a sweet father-child story that lingered a little too long on the tears at the end.
~7/10 rating~
