eh, only had a couple words...which turned out to be more than a couple...

Iljimae 3-4! Been waiting for subs, so I can understand the story details that my bad language skills and wandering mind can't grasp, but generally, these episodes try to win your sympathy by beating up, semi-drowning, freezing, tossing around our pretty boy hero. Never fear---he learns how to fight back and somewhat regains his memory after one too many knocks to the head. The plot twists have been pretty hammy, but enjoyable. And the way Ryung/Yong 'fixed' the fight was funny. One criticism I have is that the evil rich guys are just too predictable. Wish the writers would throw in a likable personality trait for them. Anyway, my favorite character is the assasin-turned-con-man with the not-blinding-white-smile.

Who Are You? 7-10! Figured out that the writers tend to explain too much; most of which the audience and characters can figure out on their own. I think that is why these episodes in general, seem slow in pacing. I doubt that anyone on my flist watches much kdrama (or at least this one), so I'll spoil away..hehehe. The interesting parts to these episodes are: Seug-Hyo is now able to see Young-In's father's ghost (along with being possessed by him) which causes him even more distress. Seeing Young-In cry about her dead father kinda softens him. Young-In also gets a clue to nice-guy, and slowly finds out why her father might have been killed. Also, nice-guy has superb rubix cube skillz. Maybe to attract da ladeez. The whole arc about Young-In's father and his ex-fiancee is a little creepy. I'm guessing it is because Young-In is somewhat attracted to Seung-Hyo who is occasionally possessed by her father who also flirts with his ex.

Honey and Clover twdrama 1! um, I guess I should just rewatch the anime and read the manga for my Honey and Clover fix. Live-action dramas just don't seem to capture the comedy and characters in a way that appeal to me. The twdrama has a more literal take on the manga compared to the jdrama, but the visual gags still don't quite make me laugh. (watched subbed at mysoju) Anyway, the opening song was unexpectedly entertaining and odd, so I recommend at least watching that.

honey & clover, iljimae, who are you, kdramas, twdramas
