Soul Eater....
Soul Eater 1! I guess when you've got a show with top quality animation, the only choice is to share the 400mb version...ugh.
+ Talk about quality...this is so crisp and clean that everything else I watch might now seem like visual-Walmart.
+ TM Revolution comes back from his school-boys-stint to prove that he writes very fitting and always energetic anime tunes.
+ Fluid and fun action scenes make the episode move quickly.
- So-so plot.
Quick summary ~ Monsters kill humans and eat their souls. Other blogs have better knowlege of this anime, but basically, shinigami technicians(?) use humanoid weapons that eat evil souls. After eating 99 evil + 1 witch soul, the weapon gets a power-up. This story has 3 couples' stories to focus on. Maka and Soul Eater are the first couple and have a hard time getting the last witch soul.
Quick opinion ~ The goth design reminds me of King of Bandit Jing and D.Grayman, but from Studio Bones, it is 10x better. While visually fantastic, the humor is not quite laugh-aloud humor. It's more basic anime humor. The preview for the next episode will show the next couple. If it didn't look so hot, I'd stop here, but eye-candy is a wonderful thing.
