There's something moving in my trash can.

RL is totally kicking my butt. I'm glad to have healthy distractions which fuel me with .... uh, eye-candy.

Laruku's Drink It Down PV is a nice vampirey romp. The song has been out awhile with the Devil May Cry 2 promo and it's not my favorite song, but it does have some rockin' parts.

Got some manga; a couple of the new and more expensive BL volumes. One with the semi-promised color page, one without...boo. I want my $3 color page! Or is that the 3 extra dollars to fuel the CEO of TP's Hummer?

I also got Viz's Honey & Clover. Is Viz's manga generally cheaper than TP's? Anyway, it was enjoyable. I still have the same old gripes with bad font choices in certain areas, and sometimes I wonder about the translation, but I am relieved that Viz kept alot of Japanese words in and used endnotes to explain them. H & C never got much scanlation coverage, so this is probably my first time reading this. I suppose the amount of text & lack of typical bishonen deterred many scanlators and I don't think this is a title that I would have picked up had it not been for the anime. Similar to my thoughts on Nodame Cantabile, the manga is really rich with tiny comedic details and is original in its storytelling---too bad about Viz's 4 month between volumes schedule.

All in all, a good purchase. Those 'I' before 'E' except after rules are hard, and I'll forgive the interns who still do not know how to use spellcheck.

laruku, manga
