Just shmooping around

Tada, Kimi wo aishiteru/Heavenly Forest was just released(by pirates). This jmovie is strictly for Tamaki Hiroshi (from Nodame Cantabile) fans...I don't see why anyone else would watch it.

Oh, if you liked Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu/Be With You, this is a story from the same basket. Basically, it is about a young college student who meets a weird, Nodame-like girl played by Miyazaki Aoi (the first Hachi-Nana) on his first day of college. They become friends over photography. *spoilers* He has some weird skin disease which makes him shy and reluctant to be around people. She has some odd disease which keeps her child-like. She likes him. He likes another. There's a twist. I believe Tada was written by the same author as Ima, Ai and thus, similarities in the storytelling can be seen; jumps in time, awkward main character, twuuuu luubba without details. As for the film, the scenery is pretty, but not quite outstanding...or maybe this is because the cast is so darn attractive, they outshine the cinematography; no pimples allowed. umm...I guess that's all there is to say about the film. ~7/10 rating~ for lack of true romantic impact, but a good dose of Tamaki Hiroshi.

BTW, imdb has Jennifer Garner remaking Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu/Be With You...interesting...as interesting as Keanu Reeve's remake of Il Mare.

Speaking of Keanu Reeves, this trailer is one well-made fan-take on America's version of the Evangelion live-action movie.
