UVERworld's Bugright album is a fun collection of garage-band-type rock tunes. Love 'Shamrock' which features the lead singer, Takuya, doing an impression of some sort of Muppet in the middle of the song. That is also my whole reason for getting the album. Takuya has an interesting voice which really stands out when he jumps from rap to song. Their music always seem to have parts that I'm sure audience participation is required. The new PV for 'Zero no Kotae' is fun but nothing special. The band always looks energetic and loves to jump up & down. The song is track 1 on the album and is the kind of song you'd expect from them. The band became known because of their song for Blood+, 'Colors of the Heart' and 'D-technolife' from Bleach, both being my least favorite songs of theirs...next to their attempt at a ballad, 'Kimi no suki na uta.' If you like music like Flow or Porno Graffitti, this would be another group in that particular genre. Anyway, Bugright has 15 tracks and all of the songs are energetic and uplifting...although if I actually cared to try to understand the lyrics, they might be singing about the death of little kitties...I'm kidding, I think they mostly sing about freedom and futures. hmmm...Track 14, Discord, might be about Takuya's run-in with the law. ~rating 7/10~

Mr. Children's Irodori PV is quite amusing. It features a bunch of families standing around with ropes connecting each person in a large family tree. The amusing part is that most are western families and they are trying to lip-sync to Irodori which is in typical Mr. Children heart-warming fashion, sweet. It is charming. (maybe it'll be up on youtube later). Anyway, Mr. Children have a new album, Home, out in March. Sounds schmooopy. ♥ them anyway.

ETA: L'arc~en~Ciel's new song, Shine, will be the opening to Seirei no Moribito which is a fantasy anime airing this spring! ah~ it's a P.IG anime...
