Shinkurou is vaguely worried that he left a bad first impression, and that Fujisaki thinks he's a liar, because he's not! (white lies don't count in his opinion) He hopes they can become friends, the same way when someone first leaves home for college, they hope they can become BFF with their first roommate (or at least I did |D). After all, he's finally living with a guy, like normal, instead of an apartment full of women where he's emasculated everyday (not that he cared). Fujisaki is kind of cool, he's in a band, so he must be popular! Maybe I should get his autograph to show people when I go back home! Overall, Shinkurou likes Fujisaki in a really obligatory, abstract-ish kind of way.

Yoshino thinks Miyako is a friendless and lonely girl who has decided to become tough and cheeky, rather than helpless and mopey. She approves! She assumes that Miyako is generally disliked by her classmates for reasons out of her control, like perhaps Miyako's parents or siblings did something taboo, and Miyako is suffering the backlash. Yoshino is sure Miyako will have all the friends she needs when she gets older, because it's true-- children can be cruel. Other than all these assumptions, she's largely neutral towards her. lol Yoshino doesn't have a shred of maternal instinct or sympathy for cute things.
