Misfeasance
Noun
  • A wrong that arises from an action. The wrong can be actual or alleged. This word is often used in law, relating to the wrongful use of legal authority.

Used in a sentence:
  • The misfeasance of granting the rangers the right to demand room and board without recompense is unacceptable if not immoral.

Commentary:

Similar to a prior weird word malfeasance and by similar I mean almost exactly the same. The primary difference being that misfeasance a wrong that arises from some other action while malfeasance is simply wrongdoing. Subtle differences for subtly different words!
