And that does it! Broke 75,000 words! Makes me wish I had the achievement system working so I could award myself an achievement. Yes I’m using the huge number to cover up the fact I only wrote half of my usual goal. What of it?
I’ve been considering revising my daily goal. I’m not regularly hitting 1000 words. I”m not sure why. This blog posts might be apart of it but I like keeping you dedicated readers updated. Maybe reducing to 750 words to give myself something a little bit more attainable. I also think maybe I should look into increasing the number of times I write to three times a week instead of just two.
Another small note. The full calculation of the number of words I’ve written for this story now calculates at over 100,000 words. This is after I cut out the outline for the next book. Woo!
Everlasting Update
Finished the first real death scene. I think it worked out well. I may need to rename the Hudson character. Hudson and Hicks might be a bit too tongue in cheek yes? Well if I start adding more comedy to the book in a later revision they’ll fit in. Next scene is Marla’s recovery and a flashback to the Battle of Qual Plaza. Looking forward to that one!
Anomalous Writing
The group is performing more or less normally. Everybody still seems to be writing. We have one or two members on vacation. I am thinking I would like to invite at least one more member to even out attendance as there are still times when only I show up, which gives me motivation not to write when there are other things to do.
