Calmer now. Much is done, actually - and anything that isn't? Is out of my hands entirely. ~*zen*~
I am a terrible packer. The only time I managed to pack only what I needed was when I backpacked in Japan and Thailand. I need options. My trip to Vegas was the most egregious example of my overpacking because it was my wedding and was in Las Vegas, and I was in good shape and able to wear all sorts of awesome stuff that I collect and never wear. I think the second would be when I went to San Francisco and the night before,
spaceanddeath and Craig made me get rid of three-quarters of the ten black ribbed shirts I was trying to bring. I think the fact that I could go backpacking is proof that I can pack light; it's just I really don't want to. I need options.
The point of this is: I can't even pack light for a con. Who cares if it's hot when I might be able to wear my Number Six coat?
God knows what will happen on the cruise, with one formal nights and three semi-formal. That's four dresses without options! And what about the shoes?
The best t-shirt I've seen in awhile on some Chinese pierced dude: 'Had Chinese Lately?'
