I made something for the Econ council and then for the BA council (via AdCore) Funny how I always meet new people every AdCore meeting. Way to socialize, haha! I just realized, if the posters get the nod, it'll be like a collaborative visual effort between my graphic design and Sandee's amazing photograph-ee! I think that's an honor. ^ ^ Anyway, if you're familiar with my work, you might recognize my graphic designs in both colleges when school opens. :) Now, I'm gonna work on those CAP IDs which are also due today. Whew.
I've been frequenting the online communities less and less because I'm staying away from such distractions in order to get a surge of productivity going these last few days before school begins. Except for Ad Hoc duties, there's a chance that I'll go MIA from everything else this sem, haha. My grades need to make a comeback. And yeah, portfolio preparation for Singapore. Shit, I have to get the scholarship and then get hired at ILM! Goodness gracious, there's still so much to learn, and so little time. Art is REALLY VAST, man.
I can't wait to get my pay. Excluding the paycheck from Cinderella, I already have xxxx pesos waiting for me from other jobs. And it was almost effortless! ^ ^This should lift me from my state of 'pulubs'. And hey, I'm learning to control my coffee intake. I've been eating properly and exercising for the past three weeks, and have just lost 5 pounds. Yeah I know it's only a little, but c'mon, my metabolism is stubborn. I hope I can keep this up. I would like to think that the discipline I derived from the 100 Project has spilled over the different aspects of my daily life. Well, that's the idea. I didn't update last weekend because the next batch would complete 50 faces already. That's pretty special, so I wanted to have this one week hiatus, and then...surprise! We've got 50 already :D But of course, only the LJ people will know that. I bet other people thought I got lazy or something, hahaha. On the contrary, I've been having a productive summer, so far, even if I didn't apply for an internship.
I'm gonna postpone the Flash-y stuff for a while because I haven't done any painting! I have no idea when our INK exhibit is gonna be, but ohmygosh, I want to be prepared and well-practiced before I start working on whatever it is that I'll submit. Bawal kulelat.
I'm a little anxious about my prerog plan. I wish it'd be done and over with. Wonder if I'll still be able to get Diokno for 151 since it's closed already. I don't even know what he looks like, so good luck hunting him down for personal prerog. What if I end up in Ho's class? I fear for my grades! Aaaah! And then I still have to get the prerog for my last GE. I have no idea how I'll go about doing that, but I'm gonna track down the prof for the whole registration period. Anyway, bumalik ka na, Alin! Yung GE prerog natin with Chase! I don't wanna go to a freshie-filled class by myself! (Most of my batchmates have completed their SSP GE's already.) I have a feeling though that we won't get to prerog because Alin will come back from Europe on the last day of enrolment. And Chase is pretty difficult to contact, too. Boo hoo.
Senior year and I still have 30 units left. Yuck.
I miss 7D! At least Czar was perpetually in the tambayan. I don't miss her anymore, hahaha. [Joke lang, Czar] Anyway, yeah, I miss 7D, I might make a 7D wallpaper (wherein all of us look cute, and I'm not that fat, hehe) one of these days. And Minay, lunch tayooo! I miss talking to you!
