Such Great Heights!
I won't be here from April 12th to the 25th because we are leaving for the US next week. By we, I mean my brother, my sister, and myself. Just the three of us. We're being sent off all by ourselves to the US of A. A learning trip, my mom likes to call it. My brother jokes that he won't come home anymore and that he'll stay there as a TNT. I can already imagine the three of us carrying all that luggage through busy streets. [Mental note: Travel light!] Three Chinese kids getting lost in America. What a scene. Oh, but we must look conspicuously cute, like cartoon characters. Haha. XD
I can't wait for next week! First stop will be San Francisco, and then DC, and then...NEW YORK! I've never been to DC and New York. I am psyched about going to the museums and art shops, wotta geek. Actually, upon mention of our allowance for the trip and the option of buying a luxury item for ourselves there, my sister and I immediately thought of books and CDs (that aren't available locally, of course) Yeah, we be geeks. XD I'm more stoked for NY though. My mom says it's exactly like those Vogue spreads with urban backdrops. And we'll see all the designer boutiques! I can't wait to wear my woolen beige coat. More accurately, I can't wait to have my picture taken in it, with the grandeur of the cityscape in the background. :D
I wanna see a high fashion model in person! Actually, I wanna see Freja! Then I'll take a picture with her. Which will probably come out like this:
Yeah, they tower at around 5'10" or so. Freja's 5'10 1/2"...and we're just about the same age! :O
Unfortunately, it's been over a month since New York Fashion Week wrapped up, so my favorite model is probably back in Denmark. Oh bugger, there goes my photo op. :( Hahaha. XD
Well, I shall be off now. Days off for prayer during the Lenten Season. Ah, thank God for the miracle of passing BA 99.2. Otherwise, I'd be in the dregs of accounting this summer rather than going to the US.
Today is also Prison Break Season 2 marathon day! Hahaha! Woohoo! ^ ^
