Can you believe they gave me my own room?
Got back from Olympia at 5am on Tuesday. Took some exam later that day that I didn't study for, but am confident I did excellent on. Still very tired from it all.
I currently lack the capacity to really delve into the details of the trip, but I'll mention a few tidbits...
The capitol was... eh, same as always. Last Word Books was a great find, however (reminded me of the Lucy Parson's Center in
Boston). As was Dumpster Values, where I snagged myself an
$18 suit that couldn't fit better even if it was custom tailored for me. Also picked up 3 other shirts. Yippie.
The Rotarians celebrated their 100 year anniversary. The only part of interest was the
town crier, who owned. I must learn to speak like that someday.
I now have some mugs, hah. For the truly curious minds: my dinner. Yes, that's pasta (cheese sauce, parmesan / romano, crushed peppers, basil) covered in brussel sprouts (curry & general tso's sauce). Surprisingly good, considering my lack of cooking skill.
To those of you on the Westside: my uncle's band is playing at the EMP sometime this weekend. If you're 21 you should totally go, because Klingon death metal is where it's at.
To the Pullman kids: there's flyers circulating for some kind of Punk Rock Prom on the 25th. If you care to teach me how to dance I suggest you attend.
I've been so wiped that I've skipped the past 2 days of martial arts (wu dao & modern arnis). Yeah yeah,
I'm a terrible person, but I think I need some sleep.
