Okay, so I forget about writing in my LJfor weeks at a time and then do a massive catch up. It's okay, you'll all survive somehow. You probably don't need a daily report from me.

So let's start at the beginning with the things that haven't changed... still at CBS, still umpiring, still with John, not engaged/married yet, and no kids here or on the way. The last two of the list seem to be the most important with the way things have been going with people I went to school with in the past oh lifetime. Everyone seems to be getting married or reproducing lately it's kind of frightening.

I'm hoping to do the 3rd Annual Beer-B-Que again this year. Not sure if it's going to be while the parents aren't home or not. We really don't have a problem with them so much anymore... we're all of drinking age now and we don't get too rowdy or nekkid. We've calmed down some in our old age. It's hard to believe that we've all been friends for over 10 years now. it's amazing to think that we all still tolerate each other enough to spend time together LOL

Still hanging on at CBS for now. I did apply to Southern for grad school for the fall. I think I got in since they made me pick all the classes I would take during the program but I still haven't gotten that official acceptance letter from them yet. I'm still going to start taking the undergrad classes online this summer just in case. I figure, I'll take as many classes as I can at one of the community colleges so that I don't have to pay nearly as much for them. I'm paying for grad school outright with no financial aid or loans so that little bit I'll save at a CC is a big deal.

My goal is to umpire my life away this spring/summer but it hasn't started out that way. I didn't do nearly as many games as I had wanted to this past fall either. With grad school looming in the distance I need to pay off my credit cards pronto so that I have nothing hanging over my head. There's still the trip to Disney sitting on one of them from February and the interest will start on that next month. It's time to start strapping down and getting it gone.

In other news and world events... my sister is heading up my way for college. She's going to Sacred Heart in Fairfield so she'll be less than an hour away. This could be good or really really bad. Luckily she's still a youngin so no drunken debauchery yet. (Unless she's really nice to me... LOL) It'll be good though. She's going to throwing for the track team so my parents will be up more to watch her meets and such. It should be interesting.

So that's the past few weeks in a very small nutshell. I'll try to behave and update this more often but no promises.
