"OK, I wasn't sure who to tell about this, or indeed if I should be telling anyone (well, I know I shouldn't, but I'm going to anyway because I'm so fucking excited):
I work at Gateway mastering in NY, and Thom Yorke has been popping in over the last couple of weeks - not sure if he was doing something else in ny - but basically it turns out that the whole band have actually been in, mixing their new album this week (I didn't even know there were there!!!) and I was in one of the room earlier and the guitarist, Jonny Greenwood, was in there, and I HEARD SOME OF THE SONGS.
Well, bits of them anyway. I heard that one which they've been playing live called lotus flower, except it's like a whole orchestral arrangement and sounds INCREDIBLE. didn't get to hear it all though. I came back later (pretending I was looking for something) and they were listening back to this really dub-step-y dance track which sounded SO good from what I could hear - though it sounded more like Thom was stammering on the vocals rather than singing any words. but there was like a slow build up of strings in the background which sounded fucking immense.
Anyway, I don't know if there are any radiohead fans on here but I thought I should share this. No idea when the album is coming out - I head a few of them talking about broadcasting something, so they might have been talking about the radiohead album. Like how they did that webcast thing last time."
