Switch has been terribly demanding about his nightly walks. I have explained to him that it's 'not till after dinner.' but... he is a cat, and he has no concept of time.
... and yes, I walk him. He's been fairly good lately. We get down the cul-de-sac and around the corner - sometimes for a whole block.
He tries to eat grass, and then barfs on the rug and hour later . So I won't let him.
He refuses to eat expensive 'cat grass' - and is only marginally interested when I planted him some sod on the back porch.
He just really wants to barf. It's a new hobby. I'm irritated with it.
So... someone want to tell me what the heck the 'freeze' button does to comments?
And what is 'make sticky post.'?
Honestly, LJ, you're suposed to be like an old yearbook. You're not suposed to change while I'm gone. You're suposed to sit on the shelf and gather dust like a proper journal.
You know, I think I came back because so many of the podcast authors I listen to keep mentioning their LJ in their bio.
... not that I ever intend to read them. Just... put it at the front of my mind.
Also, I want to see if it's blocked at work. Whatever software they have blocked crazyguyonabike.com as a 'social networking site.' (that was amusing) I was trying to fcheck out my friend Carlton's schedule for when he hit San Fran - and when his flight to Australia was. Cuz I was mailing that box-of-a-box for shipping his bike on the plane. It got there fine. But... a journaling website for cross country bikers is not exactly 'social networking.' "A leasure site" a "non-work-related site" but 'social networking'? bah.
Now I wanna try to break the filter on my lunch.

Hell, the last full time gig I had - Robbins Manufacturing - had NO internet rules, until some yutz in shipping almost crashed the network playing fucking HALO online on his lunch hour. (No wonder my farmville connection was so slow.)
... then again, they HAD no IT department. it was outsourced, to Madison- 50 miles away.
I need to go ship my My Little Pony auctions. I normally do it by Sunday night, but, this batch sold for a $1 each. And now one of the buyers is bitching it isn't there yet. *sigh* I wish I could ban buyers with less than 20 feedback like the old days. (Hell, I wish I could leave NEGATIVE feedback like the old days. Had buyers stiff me on shipping or not pay at all. You never know if one of the buyers has a bunch of open 'disputes' or is a whiny bitch who complains about your shipping prices in private emails.)
Eh, I didn't come here to complain. Things are fairly agreeable right now.
Gonna have to update some of my icons. But that's for later.
