I will miss my bowler, but I had a good night

Inferno. Late. Later than usual for me. (11:30)
Saw people. Played revenge thespian with Echo. Got drunk and smacked some boy on the dance floor. (He asked for it.)
I was... one of those people on the dance floor. (behaving badly)
Oh well.
Once every 5 years or so.

I traded hats with Bao. Traded back. Then gave my bowler to Steve to wear for a while.
He promptly lost it.

I am sad, but I'm not. It was a fitted bowler. It worked. But I got it at some rich yuppy rummage sale in Sun Prairie (before I moved here) for $3. So I've had it for at least 5 years. I think I got my money's worth.

I do not want Steve spending a bunch of money replacing it. I do not want him to feel bad. I purposely don't spend a lot of money on jewelry or accessories because I expect them to be lost or broken in my flailing around the club scene like the drunk over-exuberant monkey I am. Most of my stuff is meant to be interactive, fun and flirty.
There are very few accessories or clothing items I will have a fit if they're ruined. I accept that anything I wear out to a public venue may be sloshed with drinks, burned by cigarettes or thrown up upon. (all of which have happened at some point.) Clubs are chaos. You can't control a crowd.
heh... guess all this is residual hangover ruminations

I had fun. What made me late was me actually styling my natural hair. Finally getting long enough to do something with, but curling it takes forever. (or 45 minutes of product, curling, teasing, blowdrying, repeat...) I have VERY STRAIGHT HAIR. This is one reason I rely so much on wigs, hair falls and hair pieces.
My hair is BORING.

So... impromptu afterbar at Quentin's across the street. (I think I left my glovelettes in your kitchen when I did dishes, Q.) Poor Echo ended up on her ass on some ice out front. Probably sore today.
Anyway, I tried to make everyone watch "Vermilion Pleasure Night" - this cracked out Japanese sketch comedy show. It's like... if Saturday Night Live was directed by Andy Warhol and it was 4 Japanese chicks.
Yes, it's beyond nutty.

I LOVE Midnight Cooking, Cathy's House, Quick Girl and the Fuccons. And Resident Spaceship.(Poor Toshi...)

Ick though. I'm getting too old to drink this much 3 nights in the same week. Seriously.
