My name is Nicole, and I was recently at a used book store (Frugal Muse) in Madison, Wi, where I live. I found a HC copy of "Holes" by Louis Sachar... that I coincidentally needed for my Library Science Children's Lit class.
I'm used to buying "ex" library books. So I didn't blink that this was labeled "Williams Bay High School" on the outside.
But... I'm also a future librarian, and smart enough to look for the "removed from circulation" marks. This doesn't have any.
So, I googled the school, looked up the library, and found your e-mail on the page.
Knowing schools have limited budgets, and having no idea how long ago this might have been liberated... wanted to offer it back if you'd like it. Would just need the address.
Maybe you've replaced it. Maybe it was a legitimately 'sold' item. Makes for an interesting story either way.
