Personality: What you could consider polite, its just a formality. The snark is simply a bad excuse to prove that he is the superior being in this place. You could say he is passive-aggressive, he says that he will "Kill'em all with kindness". Manipulative? Perhaps, but only at his favor. He has a standard to hold on to and he is simply going to get his way across without your unnecessary blabber.
Not overtly evil, he simply smiles a lot.
History/AU: Unlike SBG's Gideon, he is not a Pokemon, he doesn't even knows what a Pocket Monster is... but he has lived a life that was doomed from the start. Life must be lived by its fullest and so he plans accordingly, not knowing that fate has other plans. A slick young man with a taste for fashion and good entertainment; Good manners and sharp clothes will lead you anywhere with a bit of charisma. He made a living by being an entrepreneur with a small business that he later expanded into a full-on franchise. Common people call it a bar, a Nightclub... He calls it a Theater, where swift drinks and easy pickups can unmask your true self.
He was once in a troubled relationship, one that will become his doom no matter what he does. He knows his days are counted and he took efforts to extend this foolish deadline. You call it a League, he calls a troupe or a ragtag team of ignorants. It didn't worked, one by one they where defeated by the sole reason that will kill him in the end...
But for this last week, he is going to meet new people, new challenges and open up a new cool joint for a whole new audience. Maybe he can change his fate.
