It's less than sending stuff by post? That's a surprise since I have read a few time that sending stuff ahead is a way to save money.

You posted things internationally to save money? There's no "freight" option from the US to the UK s0 a 50lbs box would be at least $170. So, yeah $50 is cheaper.

Chris told me this yesterday that everything went through and I'm so happy for you guys! And well, for you mainly as well obvs. ;)

I always over pack books for long flights, and typically don't finish 1 or 2. You may want to rethink this option or go for bigger/weightier tomes. I typically read about 75 pages an hour. So my 300 page Jane Austen cozy, started on the my single day flight to/from East Coast yesterday was perfect since flight time was 2 hours there and roughly 2.5 hours back. Minus all the weather fuckery and etc. ;)

*hugs*

ta! and I'm less interested in having things to do on the plan than in getting around the luggage restrictions. The jokes was whether or not I can convince them that I need 9 hardcover anthologies for a 10hr flight.
