I'm totally taken by the ARASHI fandom and I don't think that I'd be able to go back anymore. To tell you the truth, I didn't think I would reach this point. Because as days gone by, I find myself loving them more and more. It started with their songs.
5 years ago, Hana Yori Dango reached the Philippine tv. But I'm not a tv person and truth is, I'm not into MatsuJun either. I think it was that time when my male classmate was playing an unfamiliar song from his mp3. I think I was drawn into the beat and listened carefully as I came to the conclusion that it really was a Japanese song. Then, next thing was I found a video on the same classmate's profile and watched the pv. It was Sakura Sake by Arashi. I liked it and the next thing I knew, I was already on LSS mode (laughs). I didn't go further than that.
Next thing is, I watched HanaDan season 2 and fell in love with Love So Sweet. A couple of months later, I bought DVDs. In those piles included Yamada Tarou Monogatari, Stand Up! and Bambino. When I searched for the pvs of the said dramas, I was surprised that the lead of Yamada Tarou Monogatari and HanaDan were in the same group. At first, I didn't notice it but yeah, I eventually did. I liked their songs so I downloaded more. I think the first batch of the songs I downloaded were --- A.RA.SHI, Life, Love So Sweet, We can make it, Happiness! and Kitto Dajoubu. Along with that is I also DL-ed the clip of them performing A.RA.SHI while blindfolded and with headphones due to the amusement of seeing them fail at their own song (laughs).

I love their songs but I'm not really into the group (laughs). It's kinda complicated ne? Being drawn to the songs rather than the group itself. Anyway, one day I clicked this Youtube video having a title "Aiba in the Philippines." Of course I didn't know the Arashi members' names that time. I watched the video with Hiroki Aiba in mind (laughs). What followed was, I watched video after video of Masaki Aiba's encounter with animals. I guess that's the turning point. I got to know more of the group by their funny sides and unknowingly from pure amusement, my likeness grew and grew.

And now, my Youtube acct is mostly populated by ARASHI vids (laughs). Watching pvs, the making, concerts, variety shows, guestings and JR days. It was a lot of fun. But there was this one vid that really stood out. It was Arashi in 24hr tv. I think that was the time when Aiba just released from the hospital due to lung infection. Nino and Aiba made a letter for everyone and I literally cried by the messages their letters contained. Especially Nino who ended with each member's part with --- "I'm glad that I met you."

The members stood out in their own way and I like that. But I know that there is more to them than what the public's eye see. I think I came to understand a bit from each of their parts in the "10000 Word Interview." I think it was released in a special magazine that only contained Arashi. From childhood, their pre-audition, the audition, being a JR, early works, debut and the 'Here We Go' concert. I read it all and found out about their frustrations and learn more about their true personality through how each of the words were presented.

I guess years will go by but I wouldn't get tired of knowing more of them. I really look up to them who made their own choices in life and stood grounded to those. Even at a young age they know how to be independent and sensitive with the people around them. They might've questioned themselves back then if the way they took is the right one, but the accomplishments they presented and continuously presenting to us and the massive support from fans are enough proofs that their decisions and sacrifices were not left in vain.

And for the rest of the years to come. It would always be --- Arashi~ Arashi~ For Dream~ :3
