...you and your friend would have been in the city visiting the concert of a choir on a Saturday evening, concert just ended, past 22:00 in the evening. And you were told that choir holds its regular practises in a village a few miles outside of said city, in the city hall (?).

...you and your friend decided to drive through that village on your way home to look where that city hall is. And you didn't find it because it's dark outside and you don't know the village.
Would you...
...then go to a random house in which you see there's still lights on at 22:50 and ring the doorbell? And a second time when no one opens right away? Just to ask for directions to the city hall?
