I mean get some boots, gloves and a shovel for crying out loud...
I saw a reporter on "TV" [via internet] being all like "OMG my feet are not touching the ground because I cannot push through the snow because it's too thick" .... ?!?%?%akdkjkajkjkjdkjkj.
We used to walk through this ON FOOT for an hour with the wind in our face windchill factor -35°C snow up to mid-calf and get to school all white covered in snow EVERY DAY when I was a kid. We didnt die. We got to school and shook the snow of our clothes, and hung them to dry.
When I see them in CARS complaining.... I can just laugh at how meek some people are...
I and all my fellow citizens walk on SOLID FROZEN ****ICE***** i.e. whats on top of every sidewalk in town, we trip, fall, and get back up, we wait for the bus in subzero weather, our face freezes over, then it defrosts, do you see special TV reports about THAT?? Get a taste, people!! IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. It's called WINTER. Using words like "apocalypse" and "armageddon" only makes you appear whiny and childish... Maybe if you got out of your stupid gaz-guzzling SUVs and WALKED a little, you wouldnt be caught with those crazy climatic changes to begin with.
I cant believe how every time there is a snow storm, it is THE WORST snow storm we've EVER SEEN. UM, NOOO.
I remember the winter of 1997 when -30 was the norm every day for 3 weeks steady, day and night. Now it's so rare it makes news when we get it. Humans have shorter memories than mice. [no insult to mice intended]
