Long time.

It's been awhile.  Actually, it's been a long while.  I have three in college now, and life is very complicated and complex.  A year and a half ago we took in a young man in my son's class so that he could finish school...he still lives with us, so that makes us a four child family.  I no longer appear in plays, my last one was a year ago.  It's hard to continue to muster enthusiasm when you are constantly being overlooked despite years of faithful service, for a person who has either never done work at the theater before, or who you know hasn't been as faithful as you have.  Throw in those in charge giving the new and the unreliable your role, well, that was it for me.  I now sing in Houston with a professional group.  And yes, I still have my moments of bitterness.

Other than that, the family is good!  Daughter one will graduate this Spring, Daughter 2 will graduate from BU next May, and Son will hopefully be off to an out of town college next year.
