Boston
This has been a difficult week for lots of people, particularly for those who live in Boston, or for those of us who have loved ones there. Monday there was a 20 minute period where I couldn't get through to Bethany, who is at Boston University and requents Copely Square. Finally got ahold of her and she was fine. Then the West Texas Fertalizer plant explosion. While we didn't have anyone we directly knew there, we have plenty of friends in our area who have friends and family who are missing or dead. So Sad. And now today I woke up to "Just want you to know the University has canceled classes and I'm safe in my dorm" WHAt????? I think I levitated down the stairs to turn the TV on. Worried about Bethany all day, not because I was afraid she was physically in danger, but because I'm three thousand miles away, I can't look into her eyes and give her a hug. Hubby totally did not understand that. It wasn't pretty. Y'all I am so thankful this week is over, I am bone weary, I can only imagine, probably inaccurately, how those in West and Boston feel. Time for bed and a chance to try and regroup.
