(no subject)
chelsea, chad and i purchased our tickets at fye yesterday. we're taking a bus/train to syracuse
saturday, september 2nd and we'll be spending the day there. then sunday we're seeing taking back sunday/my chemical romance/circa survive/the honorary title. we get a break deal on a hotel room there for 2 nights along with the price of the bus, and the syracuse mall is only 1 mile from the hotel we're staying at. so, sweet deal.
this weekend has been eventful. friday i watched v for vendetta with some friends here for the first time. excellent movie. excellent movie to the extent i'll probably buy the dvd if i see it. and it's on rare occasion since 2000 that a decent movie is released anymore. kyle and i made a gigantic plate of nachoz. he was going to crash here, but he ended up staying at carol's. her and casey stopped by for a bit after my dad left for work. then matt c. came over rather inebriated from a party. i convinced him he looks better without facial hair and he shaved it all off up in my bathroom with a crappy razor and my mom's pink satin shave gel. didn't take much. then we were dumping pop all over each other. he must've emptied 1/2 the glass of dr. pepper i had on my pants. haha. i had to be up at 7 a.m. to help my mom take our cat to the vet for a testicle trim, so i did not sleep. nor was it fun trying to get him in the cage. he knew what was comin.
sunday i spent the afternoon with my parents. my dad took us out for chinese, then we went to the fish hatchery in randolph. it was a nice ride. i got copious photos. the tanks weren't big enough for the fish. in 2/3 of the tanks it looked like the fish only had the room of 1/3 of their body capacity to move. there must've been thousands. crazy.
then sunday night i hung out with dave s. here again. we were looking through my albums on kodak easyshare at pictures from last summer. majority he didn't remember. mary and christina stopped by for a bit, i haven't seen christina since last summer, either. we agreed we miss our pasttime inebriation and partying, and we must have a few again before the summer is over. dave had a 2:00 curfew so he had to be home. then kyle, mark and dan came over and we made alfredo and blueberry waffles that i weren't even aware were in the freezer. they must've been there since floral was here that we didn't eat. we watched 1/2 of a couple movies before they left. matt c. stopped over for awhile, once again, inebriated. but not as inebriated as he had been friday night.
