my housemates are talking about pooping. gee whiz.
i'm so bad about updating these days. i want to work more on my journal layout on monday, so maybe i'll also update again then too. yes, maybe.
i've been working out for three weeks now. and counting calories. the first two weeks i was only able to go 4 times a week, and i wasn't counting calories. last week (this week), i went monday-friday, of which i am tremendously proud, and i've been on the 2000 calorie limit. i'm not going to weigh myself until next week, though, else i'll be superly disappointed (probably). when i first weighed myself at the start of the workoutage, i was 155 lbs. i'm shooting for 135 lbs. the super-cool thing is that i can workout five days a week during spring term, THANK GOD. i hope i can be down to my target weight by april, but really, i'd be happy with being able to fit into some of my fancy pants by may. really, really happy.
i got my hair cut today! hurray! i liked it long, but it spent most of its time in a ponytail, so i figured it was time to chop it. it's about as short as it was... freshman year? probably. very cute. i'll post a picture tomorrow, maybes. i'm also thinking of dying my hair... because it's been a long time since i did that. that means i need to call meg. yes.
i'm a wee bit sick. i was more sick yesterday, and i'm hoping to be less sick tomorrow. wish me luck. :)
ummm... oh yeah! i checked out several books from the library on friday. the blooming of the lotus, being peace, and touching peace, all by thich nhat hanh. he's a buddist zen master, apparently, and i'm really excited to read his books. i read a little of touching peace last year, and it was... inspiring.
i thought i killed the car on thursday. but i didn't, it turns out. that makes me happy. maybe tomorrow i'll drive to car toys and buy a motorola razr to celebrate. only $50. yeah.
welp, that's all. i'm bored and a little achey, and i'm looking forward to going to sleep tonight. you know, eventually. yuppers.
