First Journal! Pokemon Collection Pics!!
I got the inspiration to join livejournal upon discovering the PKMNCollectors Community! Everyone there just seems so friendly and share a passion for Pokemon as I do! Ever since I was three, Pokemon has been a huge part of my life. I collected the cards, the figures, watched the show religiously, and begged my parents to take me to the theatres when the movies were released. Because my parents are amazing they would, and for several birthdays or rewards for my report cards they would buy me a lot of the Pokemon merch during the boom. My very first Pokemon game was Yellow, it was the first personal video game I ever had. We owned a Nintendo 64 and an SNES, but my parents usually had those. On my fifth birthday I got my own purple Gameboy Color with Pokemon Yellow and couldn't be more engrossed in the Pokemon world. Throughout the years I bought one of the games from each gen, and bought most of the spinoffs such as the Mystery Dungeon and Ranger series(and I'm still waiting the day for a Pokemon Contest game ; .; ). My favorite Pokemon game has to be Emerald, I don't know why but Gen III just always seemed perfect to me and holds most of my favorite Pokemon! My favorite is Milotic...I just love the majestic beauty...
Anyway, the following pictures are my collection of Pokemon items over the course of about 14-15 years :)
Duskull is one of my favorite Pokes...and thus must be worshipped by the lesser figures! >:D
I am incredibly lucky to have these...they were apparantly out for a short amount of time before being recalled. During that year's black friday the customers were allowed to go into back storage. I found this on a box of an otherwise empty shelf and grabbed as many as I saw! Lucky find!
The Chimchar and Pikachu are huge! Got them in a box along with several others at a local thrift shop! The Piplup is a Pokecen plush from Epcot :3 Also pictured are the DP Preorder Styluses + Display, the PMD pre order card, and a glasses case

These books are so gorgeous! The LE Hardover guide books for BW/B2W2! I definitely put the one for X/Y on my Christmas List! ;)

Jirachi is one of my favorite legendaries! I had gone to Gamestop to buy Animal Crossing and I saw the cute lil Rumble Figures and knew I had to get one! My mom bought it for me and it happened to be Jirachi!
These are pogs from the Red/Black versions of the Master Trainer board game
Espeon is my favorite Eeveelution and I love Umbreon's pose here so they are my favorite pogs!
Assorted coins from TCG/Events. Don't know how that Lugia coin has survived...I got it as a promo for seeing the 2nd movie in theatres. I've gone through so many moves...don't know how it was never lost!

The rest of the plushes from that box in the thrift shop, my favorite is the bigger Mantyke, it's so unbelievably soft!
My favorite Pokemon was featured on a TCG tin a few years back, so I bought it! Plus a Feebas from the thrift shop! The start of a Milotic collection?? <3

So this version goes for $500+ on Ebay and I've found that it is extremely rare...my mom found it at a thrift store a few years back...how lucky am I??!

Never had a lot of love for Magikarp/Gyarados but I believe he is one of the prettier figures

Love Snorlax <3 Looks like he has some jam on his tummy! (Actually it's where paint has rubbed off...but let's pretend)
The wings are so close to falling off...I hope to have the means to repair her one day
He just wanted pants...
Over several years of play and moving state to state (and once from country to country) nearly all of my figures suffered from paint loss. But these guys suffered sever damage from a puppy of mine...we were going out as a family and I had to leave her in my room, I had left out my figures. Upon return many of them had lost limbs, tails, hands, and many had been chewed on. These guys are my figures in the worst condition ):

So apparantly Kadabra and Abra never had a stateside release, or at least an incredibly limited one. My parents never went so far as to get figures shipped internationally and mainly bought from either Target or TRU...so how I get them is a bit of a wonder to me.
Lucky to have this guy!
And yes he is legit.
This guy is huge! Got him and Piplup at Epcot! Gen 4 was actually my least favorite but this guy was just so fluffy I couldn't pass him up!
Here he is compared to one of my sister's Disney Infinity figures! He's huge!
My oldest Pokemon item...have had him for as long as I can remember and has come with me just about everywhere.
Came with the LE guidebooks! What an awesome bonus!

Little promo art/maps from the BW/B2W2 guides and a promo for a Deoxys event, I actually have several more of these such as the ones for the Shiny Pichu and Legendary Cat Trio Events, they are just away in some boxes.
So there you have it! Although my parents are amazing and supported my Pokemon collecting when I was younger, I haven't really had the leisure of getting more expensive items or items off Ebay. I am 17, a senior in high school so I also need to save my money for college ): However I do hope that when I am in college and have a well paying job I can have money to spend on bigger collection items :) Until then I'd like to hopefully start building my collection with Kids/Tomys/less expensive plush/clearfiles/etc. I am going to hardcore collect: Milotic, Banette, Jirachi and side collect: Froslass, Froakie, Duskull, and Espeon
On LJ I am going to make posts regarding Pokemon gameplay/merch gets and so on :) I hope I get accepted into the PKMN Collectors Community soon!
