PSSFFFDS I had to post this entry right after the previous one but NOOOOO....
Let's have a small or less small summary of what's going on in my life.
♬ In the end, it was impossible to continue my exchange year as planned. Regardless I will go back on the 1st of August and stay for a month. I do feel a bit disappointed since I told them many MANY times that I won't return to Finland unless I can come back asap and attend school normally. But I cannot complain, after all my previous host family paid my flights AND the insurance, yet they're still willing to let me live in their house, telling how they're waiting for me and everyone is already planning where they could take me during the vacation. ;__; Their kindness is too much for me, I feel like weeping whenever it crosses my mind...
So yeah, I'm really looking forward to it! One month passes really quickly so I have to make the most of it while I can! This time I'm also going to take a camcorder with me, it's the best way to show what the atmosphere is like after all!
♬ Then when am I supposed to go back to school again here in Finland? Right after I come back, of course. But it looks like I won't be attending the school in Kauhava anymore. We've been talking about transferring me to a high school in Oulu, the one I wanted to apply for when I was still in junior high. Back then my parents told me not even to try because they didn't want to pay for an apartment (and they thought I couldn't survive alone lolol). Now that my sister had to apply somewhere, ignoring our opposing dad, she sent an application to a school in Oulu and got in. And if one is going, why not let us both go? This is what I wanted after all, and it could do the trick for my (past) lost motivation.
So if everything goes as planned, I will be living in Oulu with my sister from September.
♬ When I came back to Finland, I thought I could return to Japan really soon so I went here and there to see my friends, spent almost all of my money and... I'm still here. I managed to visit three conventions instead of one and now I'm waiting for Animecon. Hahhahha...haa...
We've decided to pay a visit at tisku's house in Tampere with hitchichu and achiu after partying at A-con. We'll stay there for about a week I quess. After saying buh-bye to my buddies I will betray them and travel to Loviisa with khibz, suikka, misdre,nyanni and kunzio to party at Kuni's summer cottage for another week.
Oh no no, I'm not planning to return home during this trip at all. After leaving Loviisa I'll probably stay overnight at my relatives' house and leave for Japan on the next day. Mom will come to the airport to keep me company anyway so I can give all the unnecessary stuff to her.
SHOULD I LIMIT MY TRAVELLING A BIT? NO. IT'S MY HOBBY AFTER ALL... A BIT EXPENSIVE THOUGH.
♬ The shape of my waist had been bothering me for a while. On one side I have a nice curve but the other looks like I hadn't gone through puberty yet. I told my mom about this jokingly like "haha, it looks like my waist can't decide which gender I am!" and her reply was:
"haha, it might be your scoliosis that is causing it!" wait what
You say I have scoliosis? SINCE WHEN?
...and it turns out that yes, I really was diagnosed with scoliosis in 2008, but for an unknown reason I've had no idea of it. I do remember when we had to go through those health checks at school and a physical therapist was also part of it, but... I guess I was stupid enough to ignore it.
Anyway, since the difference was now clearly visible, we decided to meet the therapist again. She said that it was indeed getting worse and told me to see a doctor, who said my back needed further investigation and sent me to have my spine radiographed. A few days ago I got a phone call about the results and it seems that I need to get my back checked once again... maybe even in Tampere, in a bigger hospital. The doctor mentioned something about a surgeon but didn't say anything about having a real surgery. Maybe they only want to have a discussion about... something. Yikes.
Plus to all this shit, I had two cavities so I have to go to the dentist again next Thursday and I got stung by a bee for the very first time. PFFFFFF

Later tahi asked me to take pictures of her and her friends' cosplay and so we found our way to a small museum located in the same building as the event. The staff was really nice there, instead of giving angry looks they gave us suggestions on what could be used as a good prop and where was the best place to take pictures! \8D/

Bakacon 2011
I heard that our lovely little Japanese exchange student was going to work at Bakacon with another Japanese exchange student and an ex-exchange student who had been in Japan and she asked if I wanted to join them as something-in-between exchange student and I was like sure but then she was suddenly told that they had a meeting for rotary exchange students on the same day as Bakacon so she couldn't come after all but I went there anyway and stayed at the ex-exchange student's place where the other Japanese exchange student was also living in. :----)
They asked me if I could have brought my school uniform and wear it as they were going to do... but I left mine in Japan. ;; Maybe next time...
First, we had to stalk people.
Second, we had to abuse a high school girl with Tentacles from The day of Tentacle.
...naah, no.
She thought that the cosplayer behind her was cool so I tried to take a picture of them together.....and this was the result.
My boss! She was responsible of the all the cosplay stuff in the convention.
This costume could also be seen in Desucon!
